The Link Group - Management Team

John Bacon has been CEO and Managing Director of The Link Group since founding the parent pharmaceutical company.  John holds a degree in science with post-graduate studies in microbiology, haematology and immunology.  At 48 years of age he is a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Medical Scientists and holds a post-graduate management degree. 

Lyndall Kaminski has been The Link Group Finance Director since 1994.  She has a background in pharmaceutical management at hospital and retail level.  Prior to joining The Link Group Lyndall held a senior position with Doctors Television Network in Australia.

Kenneth Allan joined The Link Group in 2005 as Group Sales and Marketing Manager. Kenneth originally from the UK brings, to the organisation, a wealth of international pharmaceutical experience. He has held sales & marketing management positions with major pharmaceutical companies, Sanofi-Aventis, AstraZeneca and Schering-Plough. 

Michelle Sneddon has been The Link Group's Operations Manager since 1995.  Michelle has led the development and maintenance of The Link Group's distribution capability across the region.

Dr Douglas Mears joined the Link Group in 2003 as Medical/Scientific Consultant and is currently Director, Clinical Research, Transplant and Cardiac Division. Doug was formally Director, and Head, Transplant Research Laboratories at Sydney University Department of Surgery and Royal Prince Alfred Hospital, Sydney.He holds post graduate degrees in several disciplines of Medical Science and has Fellowships from the Royal Society Medicine, Churchill Trust, Royal Society Health, Australasian College Biomedical Scientists, New York Academy of Sciences and Sydney University. He has published and presented widely in the international transplant literature and is cited in the Marquis "Who's Who" publications Board 1996 and the 1992 Australian Directory of Academics. Doug is an active member of local and international transplant societies,academic member of the Sydney University, Faculty of Medicine, Forensic Sciences Group, member John Loewenthal Surgical Society and President, Australasian College Biomedical Scientists.
